Welcome to RUF at Rice University

We are a Christian campus ministry providing opportunities to learn what the Bible teaches and put it into practice in our everyday lives. In RUF, we want to emphasize the importance of both doctrine and life. This means that the "gospel" must be understood if it's to be lived, and also lived to be truly understood.

We want RUF to be a place where you can come with your questions and doubts, find fellowship with others, and grow in your knowledge of God's work in Christ and what it looks like to serve him. Regardless of your understanding of God or Christianity, RUF is a place where it's truly okay to be 'in process'.

Fall Discussion Groups and Bible Studies

This fall RUF is sponsoring several weekly small group Bible studies, and you are invited to join:

  • Monday @ 7:00 p.m. in the Martel Library
  • Wednesday @ 12:00 noon in Shepherd School rm. 1705 (lunch provided)
  • Wednesday @ 8:00 p.m. in the RMC.  We will meet in the Meyer Conference Room on August 26 and September 2 and then in the Minor Lounge for the rest of the semester. 
In all of the Bible studies we will be studying The Sermon on the Mount.
